The Austism Means Bad Communicator Myth

 

This is why, for so long, I believed I couldn’t be autistic because I was a strong public speaker, performer, and presenter, but then I started to think of the cost it took to get there, and my incredible ability to be often misunderstood in my life. 

Important to remember that if someone doesn’t quite interact the way you expect, it doesn’t mean they are being purposefully rude, selfish, or distant.
