I never mean to use my neurodivergence as an excuse. I never mean to put my own needs over others. But I feel, silently, that I've been struggling and sacrificing while still disappointing and underperforming. There is so much inside me that most don't understand. They think something wasn't done because I didn't want to do it or that I don't care. It is more complicated, but so complicated I often can't communicate it.
I'm trying to be better at explaining, but often I think most see it as an excuse.

I am a writer, so I write. When I am not writing, I will eat candy, drink beer, and destroy small villages.
