Off to Oz

One of my most cherished childhood memories was the yearly ritual of watching 1939's The Wizard of Oz with my mom and a big bowl of popcorn.

My love of the movie led me to read the entire series written by L. Frank Baum.

As a kid, I sort of wished a cyclone would sweep away our house on the chance it could take me somewhere magical and fantastic.

I love the world, the characters, and the adventure. It is one of my all-time most beloved stories. I would have loved to be in the upcoming production, but unfortunately, we could only commit to one show over the next few months.

But looking at these masterfully painted panels by Alissa Cooper depicting the Kansas farm of the Gale family fills me with nostalgia and joy. Playful Fox Productions knows how to put on grand productions, and you know that if you've ever come to see us.

Their version of The Wizard of Oz will be packed with adventure, humour, drama, and fun. I've had the gift of performing alongside many of the amazing cast in this show, and I promise you they will entrance and entertain you. This will be a great one for the whole family. Get your tickets here!
