About the Immediate Future

In my last post, I mentioned my obsession with getting something up here every day—even if it’s just a recycled social media post rather than the pop culture and storytelling content I keep promising.

The hope is still to keep this site consistent and daily. But I also want to focus on putting my best work here and growing a real readership. That means there will be days when I’m drained or need to put all my energy into client work, and the site gets a pass.

I need to be okay with that.

Or maybe I will keep the daily streak going. Who knows? What matters most is moving the site back toward the vision I’ve always had for it. And reminding myself: “done, not perfect.” My early reviews or essays might not match the ideal I have in my head, but they rarely do, and I’ve still grown an audience anyway.

The plan is to record a quick podcast this Monday. I’ll start posting reviews and culture pieces in the coming days. I also want to lean into writing about my neurodivergence and how it shapes the way I experience art. I want to be more vulnerable and honest about my life.

Not only will that help the site stand out, but it’ll make it feel more like me.

And honestly, my biggest goal as a writer is to connect deeply and emotionally with readers. If even one person feels seen or impacted by what I write, then this is all a win.
