We move into the theatre this weekend!
After so much hard work, bonding, and fun, this show becomes a reality the first weekend of May.
Wow, this is going to be an amazing show.
The Spicer Guarantee™ — if you don’t like it, then I guarantee you don’t know what amazing is.
I’ve had an absolute blast being Mayor Shinn. He’s such a goofy—but—in—his—own—way, endearing character. I really feel like I’ve been able to create my own interpretation and connect deeply with him (even if his personality is nothing like mine).
I’ve been genuinely touched by the kind support, compliments, and praise for my performance. But here’s the truth: You can only be as good as the performers around you, and the talent in this cast is incredible.
None of my scenes would work without the great work from that spellbinder Harold Hill, the local librarian Marian, the wild kid Tommy, and my daughters Zanetta and Gracie.
And of course, I’m constantly challenged and inspired by my wonderfully talented stage wife Eulalie.
Let’s not forget my minions... er, I mean, the school board!
I’m so grateful to be part of the COS family. This is going to be such a fun and exciting show for the whole family.
And of course, I’m incredibly proud of Everett in his big role as Winthrop (he plays the role in every show except the Thursday understudy performance), and my two very talented favourite ladies, Emily and Danika.
I really hope to see you there

I am a writer, so I write. When I am not writing, I will eat candy, drink beer, and destroy small villages.
