1. I’ve typed the words Pop-Tarts far more in the last two decades than I’ve actually eaten one. 

2. I’m fully aware of my less-than-successful relaunch of both this site and the podcast. 

3. Everett has now been in the Quebec French immersion program for over a week and a half, which is his longest stretch ever away from both parents. 

4. I wish Hollywood would once again greenlight wonderfully weird gems like Yor, the Hunter from the Future and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. 

5. I’ve played more romantic story-choice mobile games than I’ll ever publicly admit. 

6. My passion for building a writing career, growing an audience, and becoming a successful novelist is only rivaled by my overbearing self-doubt. 

7. Somewhere out there, is there an alternate universe where Outback Jack became Intercontinental Champion, babyface Honky Tonk Man won the WrestleMania IV tournament, and Red Rooster merch outsold Hulkamania? 

8. Is it time to finally accept that the Goosebumps 2 mid-credit scene will never be paid off? 

9. Despite being a writer, I may never truly be able to explain the beautiful chaos of my neurodivergent brain, or the daily internal wrestling match it hosts.
