A Favourite Everett Conversation from 2014

Me: "Did you have a fun play date, Everett?"

Everett: "Actually, no."

Me: "It looked like you were having a lot of fun."

Everett: "Well, actually, it was a little bit scary."

Me: "How was it scary?"

Everett: "You didn't see the giant monster that was hiding the whole time and he was kind of hungry."

It was further confirmation he was truly my son.
