Delay is Okay

There won’t be a Substack newsletter today.

Probably no podcast on Monday.

At the end of the year, don’t expect a Best of 2025 list.

Substack likely won’t introduce a paid tier in November.

Patreon will probably stay on hold indefinitely.

Serialized or short fiction won’t be appearing for several more weeks.

It’s hard to describe how much it pains me to write those words. I constantly feel like I’m disappointing my readers and listeners.

But none of this means the Substack, the podcast, or this site are going anywhere. My creative goals are still alive. I’m just struggling to keep up with everything right now. Emily’s surgery, house responsibilities, and tight client deadlines have made life hectic.

Then again, my AuDHD brain always calls it hectic.

I just need to go easy on myself. Everything will happen, just not all at once.
