Looking to 2026

We’re already past the halfway mark in October, and I still haven’t seen a single 2025 movie. So, it’s safe to say there won’t be a year-end list this time around.

Instead of stressing over catching every 2025 release, I’m using the next few months to explore the most intriguing movies from the past several years that I missed. My movie-watching has been pretty spotty lately, and this feels like a good reset.

I’ve got a few gift cards burning a hole in my pocket, so I’ll still head to the theatre when something really grabs me. But for now, I’m just excited to be writing about movies again, and when 2026 rolls in, I’ll be ready to dive into the new releases properly.
