Latest 'Life on the Balcony' Reminds Us There’s No Restarting Life



I played a lot of video games as a kid.

You know what I also did a lot?

Hit that reset button.

Often, it wasn’t even because I was dying or stuck in a level. It was because my scattered neurodivergent brain decided I hadn’t played that level exactly right. It wasn’t the perfect playthrough.

That obsession with fresh starts and clean slates seeped into every part of my life, and it definitely got in the way of progress and success.

My neurodivergence diagnosis helped me make sense of it. I’m slowly learning the value of living life with all its messiness, chaos, and unrepeatable moments.
