The Happy Side of the 2020 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic was hard on me. In many ways, I still feel like I am recovering from it emotionally and mentally. But it also contained a lot of gems and treasures. Sure, kids being home all day and me needing to be directly involved in their online learning made it harder to get my own work done during a time I was desperately trying to salvage it.

But that above picture speaks volumes. Being able to actively engage and be with Danika during her first few years of schooling was magical. I loved seeing her creativity and imagination do their thing every day.
