Productivity Advice Was Not Designed for My Brain

Most productivity advice assumes a calm, linear mind with unlimited executive function and no emotional weather.

That is… not the brain I was issued.

My brain needs novelty, emotional safety, and a reason that feels interesting, not just important. It needs breaks that don’t feel like failure and systems that don’t collapse the moment I miss one day.

I’m not bad at productivity.
I’m just playing a game that wasn’t designed for my operating system.

And honestly? I’m done blaming myself for that.
