A new year means a brand-new slate of movies to get excited about, and excitement for 2026 movies is what I bring to the latest episode of The Movie Breakdown.
In this episode, I reveal my top ten most anticipated movies of 2026. It’s shaping up to be a really exciting year. While there are still plenty of big IP titles and sequels on the calendar, there also seems to be a noticeable uptick in original films being sold on bold concepts, strong storytelling, and compelling stars rather than brand recognition alone.
Join me as we kick off the year with optimism and excitement.

Really enjoyed this breakdown—2026 honestly looks stacked, especially with the balance between big franchises and fresh original concepts. It’s refreshing to see studios taking more creative risks instead of relying only on sequels. I usually like revisiting older films and tracking upcoming releases alongside platforms that focus on movie discovery and streaming options, such as online movie watching platforms, to stay in the loop. Great episode and solid picks—looking forward to how these titles shape the year!
ReplyDeleteThank you for listening. The depth of original wide releases makes this one of the most exciting years in a long time.
