Sometimes being passionate and having a brain that hyperfocuses can be derailing. You put yourself out there and do your best, but then there is waiting. The more you wait, the more you want it. The more it consumes you. The more you realize that whatever you do, you can't distract yourself. Your body starts feeling sick. You start feeling pain. The only cure seems to be lifting up the veil of the unknown.
But I don't have control over that. I have no choice but to wait. My brain is not well-suited for such things.

I am a writer, so I write. When I am not writing, I will eat candy, drink beer, and destroy small villages.
