Knowing My Energy

Every night, my brain becomes a mix of gelatin, overcooked noodles, and steam. My body feels like it just finished a battle with a bulldozer. My emotions are riding a unicycle on a tightrope fraying at one end.  My energy. . . well, it is non-existent.

Yet I still cook dinner, put the kids to bed, and find lots of time to beat myself up on another day not landing work, writing a review, or creating a newsletter or podcast.

But energy during the day is being spent somehow. In the coming days, I need to be much better at really recognizing where I spend those limited dimes of energy.

Try to make them count.
