Do People Actually Like Me?

Not Too Sensitive

I used to get nauseous every Sunday morning when my dad brewed a giant urn of coffee for his Sunday School.

I preferred to read or work in dimmer light, as the brightness often gave me headaches.

Some foods would feel like they grew in my mouth, and I'd struggle to swallow them down.

I get itchy and uncomfortable after too much time doing lawn work.

I hear constant humming in kitchens, and it can be really distracting.

I miss 95% of the conversation in restaurants that feel like centers of chaos.

One look or comment will bounce around with urgency in my head for hours or even days.

I can feel certain smells.

Washing dishes can take a long time as the feel of the soup or smell of food can get me dizzy and antsy.

I am not too sensitive.

I am neurodivergent.
