Cable channels are where are all the prestige shows hang out. It has had such a drastic rise over the last decade that many actors, writers, and directors are moving over to TV for the creativity and original stories it allows. Network TV shows aren't quite there yet, but the quality has increased. 'Rake' is FOX's latest attempt to disguise a network show as a cable series.
