The Breakdown of The Candidate

This week we're going all the back to 1972 for the satirical political drama starring Robert Redford in The Candidate. The movie is speaking into the climate and turmoil of its time, but like any good movie, it is still relevant and has lots to say about modern politics. It says something that most of the issues addressed then, still are prevalent today.

We do a deep dive into this older film while also looking a bit at the career and legacy of Redford. We also talk about a few other movies that we've recently watched.

As always, we had a great time recording the episode, and we really hope you love listening to it. If you do, please help us out by spreading the word on social media so other movie buffs can find us.
