Opening Night!

 

I have mentioned a few times on here that my son, Everett, is in the ensemble cast for a big Theatre Ancaster production of Newsies Jr.

The production is part of the Junior Broadway program, and he has been practicing and working towards the performance since September. He has been pretty thrilled this week about finally getting to show off all his hard work to the public. On Wednesday, they did the first performance in a matinee for schools in the Ancaster area.

In a very cool moment, today at his school assembly he was surprised with an award for his dedication to his school while balancing it with all his work towards this weekend's big shows. It is touching that he was acknowledged for all his various efforts.

The first big show is tonight, but there is also two shows tomorrow, and another on Sunday. So, if you looking for some weekend entertainment that please consider purchasing a ticket. Everett would love to see you.
