The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship

 

This is a photo was taken on March 20th, 2018, and is the day Piper officially joined the Spicer family. She is likely around 5 months old. but no one knows exactly since she was a rescue and actually lived on the street for a bit as a puppy. She rested her head on Danika's nap for most of the car ride home. She became a beloved member of our family instantly. Summit had passed away the previous November, and I needed a few months to mourn and come to terms with his surprise loss. The moment I picked Piper, I knew I was ready to love again. She has had lots of love to share.
