My Valentine

Last Chance to Board 'Murder on the Orient Express' in Fergus

Final show in Fergus today.

I've always had a soft spot for a good murder mystery, so being part of a classic is definitely a goal achieved. This role has been very different than my past two roles which leaned heavier on physical comedy and being the centre of attention

Michel has allowed me to have a few humorous moments, and it has definitely required me to convey a variety of emotions. I have attempted to get teary-eyed in a certain scene. I have also created an entire backstory for him to help me decide how to respond to each moment. All of this has allowed me to grow as an actor.

I do feel not being with my family has definitely made it a different emotional experience. I have wrestled a bit with the feeling I am not quite connecting with the audience or nailing my performance. That likely has more to do with my mental health and decimated self-worth than actual reality.

It also gives me something to shoot for with today's final performance in Fergus.

If you're in the area then consider getting tickets for today or buy in advance to make sure you can come see us in Kitchener on Valentine's Day weekend.
