Why Not Another Project???

After 47 years of trying to be “normal,” I discovered I’m neurodivergent — specifically AuDHD — and it’s reshaped everything: how I understand my creativity, my burnout, my parenting, and my past. Lately, I’ve been writing more about what it means to unmask, to feel misunderstood, and to still find joy and purpose through art and storytelling.

Now, I feel ready to go deeper.

🧠✨ I’m starting work on a book that’s part memoir, part guide, and part messy love letter to neurodivergent creatives. A book about rediscovering yourself late — but not too late.

I don’t know exactly what shape it will take or when it will be finished, but I’m diving in. If you’ve ever felt “off script” in a world built for neurotypicals, maybe this book will be for you. I’d love to include not just my personal journey, but also insights backed by science and expert voices. So I’m hoping to interview therapists, researchers, and professionals with experience in autism and ADHD — especially as it relates to creativity, imagination, masking, and late discovery. If you know anyone in the field who would be interested. . .

My goal is for the book to be inspirational, funny, entertaining, and helpful — something that blends storytelling with strategies for unlocking creativity through a neurodivergent lens.

Right now, it’s a bit of a joyful smorgasbord of ideas and hyperfocus, and I’ll likely begin by writing a few chapter drafts to help shape its direction. It’s still a long way from querying or publishing — but if a book like that interests you, let me know.

💬 And if you’re a neurodivergent creative and would be open to chatting, I’d love to interview you to help shape the book.
