Back when I actually was able to buy my kids Christmas gifts. It sort of makes me frustrated and ashamed of my current state of things over the past few years. But the reality is my kids' Christmases have always been filled with love and joy. Even if I am not always proud of where I am personally as a provider. I don't know what this Christmas will bring, but no matter what, it will have some joy and love.
Maybe the Christmas Miracle I wish upon won't come with sudden work or a financial surprise, but something magical or wonderful always seems to find its way into our home this time of year.
You just need to be willing to see it.
If my work resonates with you and you’d like to support it, there are a few ways you can help:
Subscribe to Life on the Balcony newsletter
Toss a few dollars into the tip jar via the Support Me badge or my Ko-fi page.
Consider hiring me for your business.
Or order one of my custom Santa Letters and Christmas Stories
Every bit genuinely helps. Not just financially, but emotionally. It helps me keep going, keep writing, and keep building something that matters.

I am a writer, so I write. When I am not writing, I will eat candy, drink beer, and destroy small villages.
