It can be exhausting explaining why I am exhausted.
For years, I didn’t really know I got wiped out so often. I assumed I was weaker or brokencompared to others.
Now I realize the swirling thoughts, the emotional energy required in social interactions, and the mammoth task of breaking down what needs to be done are all part of my wiring.
The chaos inside is part of who I am. It can make a day draining and often leave me confused about what even happened.
But it’s also where my creativity, observations, and ideas come from. I am a better writer because of the chaos.
Even if it means I need to slow down a bit over the next few weeks to compose myself and refuel.

I am a writer, so I write. When I am not writing, I will eat candy, drink beer, and destroy small villages.
