Guess Who is Starring in an Upcoming 'Dear Evan Hansen'?

 

When Everett said he wanted to be Evan Hansen in the upcoming youth production of Dear Evan Hansen put on by 20 Performing Arts Academy, I supported and encouraged him. I also wasn't sure if he was ready for such an emotional and challenging role. 

Then he committed to hours and hours of putting real emotion and connection into his audition songs. He crafted and honed his monologue. It became so clear to me that this is a role he deeply wanted and was passionate about. No matter what, I was so proud of the work, effort, and heart he put into the audition. 

Knowing how much energy he poured into those songs, I started wanting him to land the role more than maybe he even did. 

Well, I'm excited to announce Everett will be Evan Hansen in the upcoming production. 

This is a glowing, proud dad moment.
