I hate "found footage" movies. I don't understand that when things start intensifying and lives are at risk why someone just doesn't rip that camera out of the guy's hands (it is almost always a stupid guy, obviously) and smash it to bits. Yet, there seems to be many audience members that disagree with me as they continually flock to the movie theatres to see them. The one positive I had going into watching Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones was that in 2012 and 2013 both opened the year off with a shitty horror picture, and so it seemed like 2014 had a chance to copy this obvious formula for success.
