The Breakdown of 'Coffee & Kareem', 'The Platform', 'Shaun of the Dead', 'Suspiria' and Remembering Brian Dennehy

This week's show is all about movies of differing genres that find ways of bringing violence and gore. It wasn't planned that way, so I don't know what that says about us. What also was not planned is paying tribute to acting great Brian Dennehy, but he passed this week, and we both have fond memories of this actors who could play both a great villain and a warm-hearted father figure. We also look at two comedies that mix with different genres like the mixed-match cop actioner Coffee & Kareem and the cult zombie hit, Shaun of the Dead. We also get a high-concept thriller coming out of Spain in The Platform. We also review a remake of a horror classic in Suspiria. We had an amazing time recording this week's show and we really hope you love it. If that is indeed your feeling, then we'd really appreciate if you spread the word on social media.

Also, the amazing artist David Wierzbicki created two beautiful illustrations for this week's show. We would really love it if you checked out more of his great art over at his Instagram and Facebook pages.
