Computer Issues Persist, So I Distract You with Billy Joel

As a young kid in the 1980s, 'my favourite song of all-time' changed about as often as my underwear (and I did that every day, thank you very much). One song that ruled on top for a decent amount of time was Billy Joel's classic, 'We Didn't Start the Fire.' I had no clue what he was singing about in the 1980s, but I loved the beat and a music video full of fire seemed pretty cool.

In Grade 10, I had a particularly cool history teacher that used this song for one of his lessons and I actually learned most of the references in the song. Even if you don't catch most of the references (which now even the 'newest' ones are three decades old), it is a catchy song with a nice hook. It is also a song that does have stuff to say, and I encourage anyone to dig deep and learn a little about what is being said.

Anyway, that is all I have as my entire day has been sucked up by computer issues that are taking much longer than anticipated. I think, I have solved the issue, but it requires me to run out and buy a USB Flash Drive tomorrow morning. Fun times.

Not really.

But this song. very fun. Enjoy.
