The Breakdown of 'The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild', 'The Royal Treatment' and 'My Son'

January turned out to be the month of big animated sequels landing on streaming services. This week we have a review for the latest sequel in a popular series with The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild. The review actually mentions Family Matters, because we love our dated references. We also have a review for the latest romantic comedy in The Royal Treatment, which is a movie that leans towards some more classic fairy tale storytelling. For something a bit darker, we review the James McAvoy starring dramatic kidnapping thriller, My Son.

After the review, we discuss two hot topics in movies. We look at Peter Dinklage's recent blasting of Disney for doing a live-action Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and debate if some older stories should be hands-off for adaptation due to being problematic. We also talk about what we can learn from the major success of Don't Look Up.

As always, we had a great time recording the episode, and we really hope you love it. If you do, then please spread the word, so that other movie fans can find us.
