The Breakdown of 'Munich: The Edge of War', 'The House' and the Oscar Nominations

It took a bit longer than expected thanks to 'technical issues' coming uninvited to the party, but we have a bonus episode of The Movie Breakdown this week. Unlike the earlier episode this week, it doesn't sound like we're obsessed with interrupting each other. But that doesn't mean we aren't excited, because we have all kinds of thoughts on the Oscar nominations that were announced on Tuesday.

We also discuss recent comments by Roland Emmerich where he says that the MCU and Star Wars is bad for cinema. While we have bemoaned the state of the original idea and the rise of those two series have made it a rare beast, do we agree those type of series are bad for cinema?

Speaking of cinema, we do have reviews for two 2022 release. We have a World War 2 thriller in Munich: The Edge of War and we also have a stop-motion anthology collection in The House.

It was a pleasure to record as always. If you love the episode, then please help us out by spreading the word to other movie fans.
